Humanitarian operations using helicopters/Valuable help in case of disasters

If whole areas are cut off due to natural disaster, there is usually only one way to help the population concerned: helicopter operations.

Heliswiss International AG's helicopters have for example been used countless times in cases of avalanches, landslides and after heavy storms and rendered valuable services with evacuations, clean-up and reconstruction work.

Even in political crises the only possible way to provide aid is often by air. The International Red Cross (ICRC) for instance organised humanitarian operations during and after the Kosovo war. As our helicopters were able to meet the necessary requirements in terms of size and equipment, our team was asked to assist the ICRC with the distribution of relief items in Albania. Guaranteeing smooth air traffic and faultless technical support in these kinds of crisis regions calls for good coordination and an experienced team.
